We have now successfully installed the Messaging FAX 4.2 (i.e. the RightFax product 9.3 FP2 SP6) with ISDN2.

The TruFax-450 ISDN/BRI boards are to connected to the Aastra/Ericsson MD110 or MX-One by these commands:

<ITNUI:DIR=6000,EQU=1-1-40-0,TRAF=00151515,SERV=0000100001,CDIV=000000010,ROC=000001,ADC=000000010;
<EXECUTED
<
<ITDAP:DIR=6000;
ISDN EXTENSION DIRECTORY DATA
DIR EQU CUST SERV TRAF ADC CDIV ROC CAT ACCTYP
6000 001-1-40-00 - 0000100001 00151515 000000010 000000000 000001 - 0
END

The ISDN2/BRI lines in the PBX are to be programmed as ISDN terminals or ISDN extension number, also called S0 bus.
To program extensions like that use the commands described.

First of all use the ELU26 board, that has a capacity of 4 ISDN2 systems, i.e. 8 channels.
Aastra/Ericsson provides also the special cables to connect the Fax server til the PBX.

The FAX server works together with the Messaging (voice mail server) in version 4.2.

Let me know, if you have some experiences from the field with this/these product(s).

I have changed the boardserver module to point-to-point. I'm not sure if my RODAI, ROCAI etc are correct though. I dial my dest code and all I get is silence until eventual time-out.

I tried to check with some customers, but I have none that use it.

Why did you change from ELU26 (ISDN extension number) to TLU79 (ISDN trunk)? Maybe try to swap back, so you can check if the TruFax board works as it should.
You could also post your "RO" data here for analysis.

I changed to TLU79 so that I can set up individual mailboxes for users under a new DDI number.

For the record, I received this from the people at Dialogic:

Code:
ROCAI:ROU=XX,SEL=512000000000,TRM=5,SERV=2101000000,TRAF=03151515,SIG=311110000030,BCAP=111111;
RODAI:ROU=XX,TYPE=SL60,VARC=00000304,VARI=00000000,VARO=06310000;

Then set the DDI in a dest code and it works fine :eek:)

If you are using Messaging or OneBox, you could easily route your common faxes through a Messaging or OneBox users mailbox. The user (or more users with the same access) can handles the common fax mailboxes from his/her own voice mail (or UM) box.
