Messaging 7.0 dial by name ? 1

Partner messaging 7.0 ...If I set up a system with all users entered as first name and we have 2 extensions with the same first name ..i.e. joe smith @ px 15 and we have a joe jones @ px 25, will a caller that opts for the dial by name directory and dials J O E be then given a prompt to add more letters for further definition or will they just get one option or what...I presently do not have a 7.0 to play with and try..I also searched prior forums but no luck.

That's why you record your name with your mailbox. It then says, for "joe smith" press 1, for "joe Jones" press 2. The "joe smith" and "joe jones" are the name recording of each mailbox. If you don't record a name it would say for "ext 15" press 1, for "ext 25" press 2.
