Hi,

after upgrading to Rel.7
system approximately every 20-30 seconds to generate reports below:
---------------------------------
ipcrm
starting: sipProcsd
using uid:500 gid:500 for startup.
cat: /var/run/sps/sipProcsd.pid: No such file or directory
/opt/nortel/sps/bin/sipProcsd
Initiating shutdown of "SPS"
sipProcsd pid(s):
Initiating cleanup: "IPC resources"
Can't open Shm file!
Can't open Sem file!
Can't open Queue file!
---------------------------
Any suggestion ?
Thanks

We had the same error message unless we had to deploy NRS service.

I am also getting this message after loading the Linux Base 7.00, 7.00 Applications and Linux patches on a new install, (not on line yet).
So, could I be getting this because because we loaded the apps SS, EM,NRS and SubMngr but have not configured NRS yet?

SPS is the sip proxy service. Configuring the sip gateway fields in the node config, then saving and transferring the configuration and restarting the sig server applications should make that error disappear.

From my experience, the message eventually goes away after a day or so. I also seemed to have had success getting rid of it by restarting the Nortel apps.
