Hi,

I have moved a few users to a new server in the site I am looking after. I used the Move Mailbox command in Exchange Administrator.

The donor server is Windows NT4 with Exchange 5.5 SP4, the new server is Windows 2000 with Exchange 5.5 SP4.

2 of the users say that they have 1 or 2 mails missing from their inbox or sent items folders?

I got them to write down the number of items in each of their folders before I moved them, so there is no confusion.

Anybody seen this?

I am wondering if they were corrupted items following a server crash and Exchange Administrator just couldn't move them?

Cheers

James

One other thing, I was wondering if I can turn on some kind of verbose logging to capture events and errors during migration?

Cheers

Very probably. There isn't detailed logging for the mailbox move process.
