Messages displaying incorrectly

When my user starts a new email message in Outlook 2000, the view of the message is only half the screen. The left side shows the message and the right side is just gray.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out how it was changed and how to change it back to full screen view.

Any suggestions?

the grey bit wouldnt happen to be like a hugh scroll bar would it??????? or even that colour...?? Jay~

No, it's not a huge scroll bar, but it is the same color.

Is it possible that this is the Outlook "Short Cut" bar and all of the icons have been deleted? Click "View" and look to see if the "Outlook Bar" has a little 'check mark' to the left of it... if so, click on it (to remove the check mark) and see if the grey area disappears.
