On a new ACS 7.0 with partner mail extension 10 message waiting light doesnt go off after the messages have been deleted.

Any suggestions?

did some manualy turn her light on, try feature 1010

Hi cycochris,
No, she has another. Mailbox 9991. Mailboxes 9992, 9993 and 9994 are for the other attendants.

Oh ok. I will check that tomorrow morning. Thanks for the help.

when its extension ten its usually one of the generall mailboxs that no one ever knew to check

might find some urgent messages from 2001 :)

Change the dial zero/timeout action for AA #1 to transfer to extension 10. If a caller presses zero or doesn't do anything the default is for those calls to go to the general mailbox- 9991. Messages there will also light the message light on x10. Unless you have some reason for those calls to go to a separate mailbox it makes sense for everything go to the x10 mailbox. Why log into two mailboxes if you don't have to?

Thank you Hal and everyone for your input! I am the programmer for the voice mail cycochris was talking about! Worked like a charm.. I changed the dial zero/timeout action to extension 10 and then cleared out mailbox 9991 (3 messages)! You guys rock!

Thank you,
Andrea

Hi Hal,
That works great unless the receptionist wants their own vm box. Then you are back to the general. This normally only gets messages overnight if you set the attendant up correctly. I haven't had anyone see this as a problem and they like having a personal mailbox.
