Message Waiting Notification Options

Can anyone please detail how to change the message waiting notification on analogue phones from an intermittant ring to a broken dial-tone?

Also what is the earliest level of software that will support this function?

LOBOUND 331 determens vhich tone function to use for
message waiting ticker. (dial tone when meassage present)

If You have sw 810.x you can try this
CHBOND:331,X; were X is the tone to be used. Here in Denmark we use the "diversion active" tone, 9
Check with
DIMDAT:0,331;

Change with this
CHBOND:331,9;

If the systems tells You that this is a unsafe bound, You can not use this method. Then You have to retrive the config
change the value of bound 331, and reproject the system.

If you do not use the same tone as we do, You can define a new "diversion active" tone nbr. 9 like this:
CHPMPD:5,9,2,0;
0,8,33,0;
1,1,2,0;
;
