I am currently dealing with 7 buildings that link back to a single callpilot system. The callpilot system went down and when we brought it back up message waiting lights were "stuck" where they were when the callpilot system stopped working.

If I had a message and my light was on and I went into my mailbox and emptied it the message light doesn't go off

If I had no messages and my light was off I might have messages in the box because the message light isn't going on.

The one tech suggested putting the 2 types of keys on a set to manually turn the light on and off but this does not solve the problem on over 50 sets

HELP!

may just need a lamp audit.. does a disu enlu work on a set? is this one switch or several smaller switches?

I think the tech was suggesting putting MIK and MCK keys on one set, then manually turning the light off the 50 sets via the one set's MCK key. You could just temporarily put the MCK key on your maintenance (or any) phone and turn off all 50 sets while sitting there. If you have a list of sets, it will probably take you 5 or 10 minutes. This is OK once in a while, but if this happens regualrly I would not go this route.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. A lamp audit was done but it was stuck midway yesterday...Today the remote tech went in and stopped and then started the MWI service on the Callpilot Server. This apparently fixed the problem.

Our system is one 61C and six 11Cs
