Message Waiting light does not turn on rls 24.24

Had problem with 2616 set with message indicator light NOT turning off, then rebuilt voicemail box (Meridian Mail) and rebuilt set, now light does not turn on.

I'd take a guess that the mailbox DN is on a key other than KEY 00 - and that that DN also appears on someone elses set.

So, your choices are remove the DN from other sets - or use an XMWK KEY. If you need that DN to be on multiple sets, then here is how to do XMWK:

Example, if the traditional MWK key on other phones is:

KEY x MWK 6245

An the DN is 1234

Then the key you need is "XMWK" like this

KEY x XMWK 6245 1234
