Message Waiting Lamp

Hi,
I have a customer with a constant MWL on her 7400 series phone. I was thinking this is a LWC issue but I cannot get the light to extinguish. Not sure if its a message retrieval issue but not sure how to get rid of it. Any ideas? All help is appreciated!

Have you tried a clear amw all command?

Like Batman said...do the clear amw all sta xxxx to get rid of the light...probably what happened is that someone "fat fingered the LWC code by mistake for the station and the only real way to get it out is to do it from the console or a station with LWC retrieval permissions and remove the message...I have seen it happen many times...no vm message but the light stay's on...

Thanks Bob & Ratman..I have an Avaya CM 4.0 so what would I enter to remove that ? is there a feature button for clearing amw?....I have another station that has the permissions just cant seem to get the entry to make....

from your admin (ASA) or console, you type CLEAR AMW ALL xxxxx (xxxxx is the station number) and that should clear the light.
