Message size in the Shared queues

I need to put a message size of more than 64 KB in a shared queue. How do I do it ? I am thinking on the lines of segmenting or grouping the message. Is there any other way of doing it ?

Segmentation/Grouping will do the trick, but often doing you own data compression can save time and effort too.
