Message Notification Interval

CICS with a Flash. Customer wants to use message notification to call an I/C when messages are left. Is there any way to control the time interval that between attempts by the VM system to call. Sometimes they are very busy and the VM system keeps calling them every 5 mins. and they would rather it call every 15 or 30 mins.. Any way to change the time in between attempts?

you can chg that by chgng the class of service on the mbox.

Can I set up just an INFORMATION MB only.

Or upgrade to T7316e to get the light.

When I am at MB and ADD a new MB it does not give me the option for an INFORMATION MB

press mbox then press 1 should see info there...

or if you see Subscriber then change to Info

That is what I was looking for usually is says SUBSCRIBER or INFORMATION but it does not. It is only setting it up as a SUBSCRIBER.

If this saves you the greif, f983, mbox, chg, next to mwi, chg to ext#.

does that solve your problem?
