Message manager pop up notifiaction not working

Can someone help with a user problem. Her pop up notification has stopped working. First removed Intuity mailbox and added her mailbox back in. Did not work.
We uninstalled mm v5 and reinstalledv5 using a different directory. Still didn't work.
Uninstalled version 5 and installed v4.5 using the lucent directory. Still didn't work.
Any suggestions or solutions?????

Check under Tools - Options

Under the General Tab are the message notice boxes checked?

Yes. That option is checked.

Are there other users set up that do work?
maybe you could mirror the settings from one that does work to this problem user. Are the operating systems the same?
Windows XP, Vista, 98.

All I can think of is settings.
Either in the PC or the MM application.
We have had ours for 2 years or more & all work great.
Wish I could help more.
