Message Manager Fax Boxes

Is there any way to set up 2 Audix boxes with Message Manager capability for a Fax # with a hunt group and have the faxes roll between the 2 boxex? I've tried but I can't get it to roll to the 2nd box. Thanks for your help.

This is unecessary which is why it's not working for you. All calls will go into the same box since it can receive multiple faxes at the same time up to the number of audix ports you have available. Why are you trying to split the faxes up? For multiple people to check it at the same time?

Yes, they want to have 2 people monitor via message manager for faxes and we'd like to distribute them evenly between the 2 but I can't figure out a way to do it.

I don't think there are any easy ways to exactly split the calls like you are asking. You could:

1. Setup a different mailbox and have the manage forward half the faxes to the 2nd box.

2. Maybe try something with "counted calls" in vectoring to distribute counted calls 1-5 to the 1st, 6-10 to the 2nd, 11-15 to the 1st, etc.

3. Use vectoring to divide then based on ani. All NPA's starting with 2-5 go to 1 number, 6-9 go to another, and point no-ani to one or the other.
