does that refer to the overhead, does the msg key flash? have you checked the mailbox itself? if this analog or digital? analog cls lpa

I inherited this system, i am at the customer site now. The phone is M3902. i left a message in the mailbox the red light is lit, i go off hook and the message key does not work.

I doubt you will get any good answers without posting the TNB first, then you can get an exact answer that will alleviate the problem.
