Message Indicator Light following agent-Id?

I currently have a CM 4.0.1 environment with EAS.
My Voicemail system is Modular Messaging.
MWI Served User Type is qsig-nwi.

We would like to create voicemail boxes for our agent-id's and have the message indicator light follow the agent when they log into different phones. Our agents may not sit at the same desk from day to day, and they give out their Agent-ID as their extension.

Everything in testing works as designed, however, I can't get the message light to follow the Agent-ID. I can hard-code a station to light when there is voicemail, but the problem is when the agent moves from station to station there will have to be manual intervention to make the message lamp light.

Has anyone done this, or can this be done?



 
Try page 11. Change the lamp indicator from station to agent:

I see. So I can't have both station and agent-ID's. :-(

It will still show indicator for station when an agent is not logged in.

It only apllies when an agent is logged in. So for Agents, you cannot have both at the same time. For regular (non-agent) phone users, the light will always work for the station no matter what the page 11 setting is set for.
