message from /var/log/messages is killing me

This message "zone <domain name>/IN: refresh: could not set file modification time of <domain.zone>: premission denied"

from the /var/log/messages file is starting to drive me crazy
What does it mean? This is from a slave dns server

Sounds like whatever user your DNS runs under does not have permissions to modify the file (or date/time of the file).

I'd check permissions.
