message from telco voicemail

On a cics 6.1 with T7316 sets I want to have the lights go on 2 sets at the reception when there is a voice message from the telco voice system. Is this possible ???

It's called message center. The line has to be on the pnone and you program the MSG CTR with the number. Also assign the phone to the MSG CTR. Program a VM button as an external auto dial with the external VM number. Plus the call button on the phones display when a VM is left will call the number.

what number do you program in the message ctr the main telephone number ???

you program the msg centre number. the number they call to retrieve messages.

Iam not sure about the lite but to have Message on the screen you would need a CI trunk card.
