Message Forwarding

I'm trying to get Message Forwarding set up here - we have a BMC50. I've got it enabled and the voice mails show up in my email on my phone (which is what I want) - but the red indicator light never turns off on my desk phone - even after I've played and deleted the message from my inbox.

Any ideas?

Log into "Mailbox Manager"

http://(bcm

ip address)/mailboxmanager, the login is your extension number and the password is your mailbox password.

Click message forwarding on the left side. There should be a drop down giving you choices on what to do with messages stored in your mailbox when read in outlook. I don't remember the exact verbiage.

I had those options correct.

We figured out the problem late yesterday. When you opened one of the emails that was sent, it was trying to reply to ext#@BCM.mycompany.local - we added a DNS entry on our servers for BCM.mycompany.local and it started letting the email replies get back to the BCM and all is good now.
