Hello,

Was looking for advise where to look to track down delays seen in receiving messages on Call pilot R5 1005r.
Several users complaining that although checking messages regularly they occasionally recieve a message timestamped from a couple of days previous, even though they had been in mailbox since to check.

Any help appreciated

Any idea how far back you can search on Session Trace tool?

Also could someone explain what following means from a "Call Answering" trace

Message Disposition : Short Message Deleted

Session length says 38 secs and Message Length is 0?

Many Thanks

Agree, use session trace. (Although I have yet to prove this to a CallPilot issue but rather a user issue every time).

The "Message Disposition : Short Message Deleted - Session length says 38 secs and Message Length is 0, means someone left a message shorter than the minimum length, default is 3000 msec, (3 sec).

Good Luck,
Barnie

Updated to SU09 back in June and no reports of issue since. Thanks to all respondees...
