I have a user on our domain that has messages with attachments forwarded to her many times a day. Since I provided her with a new PC running Windows 7 Pro and Outlook 2003, forwarded messages often have the message body stripped. The attachment comes but without any text from the sender. To make it worse, it only happens sometimes and there is no correlation with from who or where the message was sent. The mail comes from our POP3 server that services the 75 users in our company. We have tried disabling the antivirus program with no effect. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

This is going to sound really dumb, but it happend to me and it baffled me for a week. Next time the user has this issue, check to see if the text is just white. About a year ago, i was recieving emails into my exhange account from a POP server. no message was there. Just out of frustration, i tried to highlight the bod of the message, and there it was! the text was just white, against a white background. I ended up messing with the default text settings on the senders account and fixed it, but it was frustrating.

Thanks for the idea Tat. It seems to have been related to the antivirus software. Disabling was not enough, had to uninstall.
