Wondering if there is any special licenses in Aura 6 to run on VMWare or are they just tracking?

The plan is to move from MES hardware and setup each server in VMWare instead, an upgrade is not an option at this time.

I don't think it's considered a paid upgrade. I believe it's some no cost product code that has to be processed to be able to get the correct license file. And it had to be formally processed by a BP in my case. I tried going via the PLDS group and via an Avaya ticket and was rebuffed.

I can rehost all the licenses to the new WebLM, the question is just if it's gonna work or if there is a special license when running Aura apps on VMWare.

Guess I'll find out when I try =)

We'll see, if I look at another customer running on AVP there is nothing their license that differs from a license installed on physical server.

It's been quite a while so I don't fully recall, but I definitely needed to have the bp push this no cost order for this.

Well, the move from MES to each application on VMWare have been running for a while and seem like there was no problem just rehosting the licenses to the new System Manger and point the other servers to that.
