MerlinMail release 1.1.9 *** AA not answering

I have DID's comming on PRI. The first DID (5123) is my main number and it should go to AA after 5 rings at the attendant phone.
Call comes in, rings the phone as it is suppossed to, then when it reaches the voicemail system it transfers right back up to the attendant. it does not go to the AA as it should.

Incomming routing is set to "Routing by dial plan"

I appreciate any assistance.
 
I have the mailbox but I am not sure how to change the COS. the system does not prompt for COS setting when you enter the mailbox number.
 
I think you need to delete the mailbox and start over.

When you originally set up a mailbox, it will ask for COS.
 
Perhaps I have a different version of VM. it says merlin messaging on the pc card plugged into the system.

These are the options I get when I enter the sys admin extension and 9.

1 system parameters
2 exensions
3 AA
5 sys security
8 backup/restore
*# finish

once I choose 2, I get:

1 dir listing/recorded name
2 msg length/mailbox size
3 reinitialize password
4 reinitialize mailbox
5 outcalling
6 language
8 phonne status
*3 delete mailbox
*# finish
 
I figured out the problem.
When you create the mailbox it does not give COS options but it gives you 4 types of boxes, AA being one of them.

I think we were led to believe you had a MERLIN MAIL.

However, based on your last post, you have a MERLIN MESSAGING.

Totally different breed of cat.

No, it does not use COS.

As you determined, it uses "definitions" to determine mbox usage.
