Trying to network a Magix to IP Office using a "home-made" point-to-point pri, i.e., the Magix shold be grabbing dialtome from the IP Office.
Currently I can make calls fron the IP Office to the Magix, but not from Magix to IPOffice... I also can't make the Magix grab dialtone off the IPOffice's dialtone.

I'm thinking about flattening the Magix and starting from scratch.
I've looked at Tech Tip #134, but there doesn't seem to be enough information there... it's only a couple pages in length.

Does anyone know of a document that walks a programmer through setting up a PTP from Magix to IPOffice?
--- OR ---
Does anyone have configs or Magix print reports they'd care to share?

Thanks in advance.

Try the Legend Network Reference Guide document, which is downloadable for free from support.avaya.com. Second, you might search through the IP Office forum, I believe someone has posted such a request not too long ago. It is a busy forum, so you may have to wade through a lot. Some of the networking has been posted in this form also, so search away!

Thanks for the response.
Would a standard patch cable work between the two switches or would I need a cross-over? Assuming I'm going directly from the IPO to Legend?

Usually you would need a t1 crossover to go between 2 CPE units. It is 1,2 and 4,5 that are crossed.

Recently setup Merlin to IP Office network, tech tip #134 was all that was needed. When conecting a DS-1 module directly to a DS-1 module a T-1 crossover cable is normally required. When connecting to a smart-jack or equivalent, a straight cable normally works. I was suprised that I got CID number but not name dialing from either end. There may be something else I missed.
Good Luck
