I am using the Merlin Messaging System Release 1.1. A few months ago, the system was reset (restored to a backup version).
I followed the appropriate steps to assign the automated attendants to the apropriate lines and to record automated attendant gretting messages. There are 4 automated attendants, all with new gretting messages and assigned to different lines.
The problem is that when someone calles from the outside, an old voice recording picks up, not the new automated attendants (even though an administrator can log in the system and check that the line assignmens and gretting messages are correct).
I have tried everything in the System Mangers Reference manual and followed everything step-by-step, but nothing I have tried has solved the problem.
It seems as though all modifications were programmed correctly, even in WinSPM; however, the system functions like the original backup.
I thought that perhaps an extention voice recording was overriding the automated attendant, but I could not even find evidence of the location of the voice recording being played .The voice recording that is heard by a caller is neither an Automated Attendant nor a mailbox greeting.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you in advance.
