I attempted to set up Auto Attendant 1. I have a day message m-f 6am-5pm. The messages and selector codes have been properly recorded and all lines on T1 have been assigned to Auto Attendant 1. Night Service message works properly, but we cannot get the Auto Attendant to pickup during the day. What can I check? Is there a number of rings parameter for Auto Attendant to pick up?

Thanks in advance for you help.

Wayne

How are you flowing calls to Autoattendant 1 from the PRI?? That is your issue/problem?

I assumed they would come in to the main did number 3400. I thought assigning every line 809-832 the pri line numbers, would do the trick. I could be wrong.

thanks,

If you have T1/PRI - you do NOT assign lines (really channels) to the autoattendant. You have to route the DID to the autoattendant. You have two choices for routing: you can route the DID ending in "00" to the Operator extention - and make her extention an autoattendant in voicemail programming - OR - you can set up a calling group to route the DID to. Then you would have to overflow that calling group to the voicemail calling group with at least a 1 second delay - AND - you would have to create an autoattendant mailbox for that calling group in voicemail administration.
