I'm not sure why you would want to split the allocation to begin with. Setting some ports to "mail service" you would ONLY do - if you wanted to provide a dedicated line or lines for people to call - to get directly into voicemail. Most people dedicate all lines to the AA - and have callers who want to get to their voicemail remotely - press *7 as soon as the AA answers. The allocation parameter was originally designed only for the 4-port version - and it was an even split. I assume it would be 3 and 3 split for the 6-port.
You would need to program an additional VM Calling Group for the voicemail service and give it only its ports and lines. You would also need to remove the ports dedicated to voicemail service from the main voicemail calling group - which routes callers to the autoattendant.
