Merlin Mail 7.4 Auto Queue Announcement?

We have a Merlin Mail Release 7.4 we are using with a Merlin Legend. Is there a way to use the announcements on the voice mail as Announcements for our hold queue?

You can't. You need an announcement player that hooks up to a t/r port.

The cheapest, simple way to do what you want is as follows: You must have availabel tip ring (analog) ports off your switch. To these ports attach 2 or 3 DIGITAL answering machines set to ANNOUNCE ONLY, and on them record your primary announcement. If you need a secondary announcement set up another port with another answering machine. These answering machines are on the order of $30 each, or of course you couild go to Avaya and get a 4 port digital announcement unit for a few thousand, .... !

try to establish automated attendant on Merlin Mail release 3 book is unclear to how to answer immediately on incoming this would be for day and night attendants. have currently set up as single use attendant; recording answer message have not recorded sub menus
