We have a location in Colonial Heights, VA that is currently down. I am looking for a Merlin Magix tech in this area who can possibly assist today, January 18, 2013, and may possibly have Merlin Magix equipment that we could troubleshoot with. I the tech has a T-bird to check the circuit, that would be great!
Our T1 has gone down 3 times in 3-4 weeks. Each time until yesterday, the fix was with the carrier. Yesterday, the carrier replaced a card in th NIU but says that it's our equipment that is still causing the issue. We swapped T1 modules, moved slots, and took the CSU out of the configuration...none of which worked. Unfortunately, we did not start investigating the hardware until after 5:00 and continued late last night, so we had no chance to overnight equipment.
At this point, I don't know if the issue may be the processor, CU cabinet, cabling, or pointing back to the carrier. I really need some help and no longer have a technician in this area. I need a tech to help determine our issue or help prove that it's a carrier issue. Thank you!
