Merlin Magix problem Messaging light help

Our Amanda Voicemail system lost its harddrive and we rebuilt it. We didn't have a backup and had to recreate from scratch. Now some of the phones message lights are on and some are off. The Phones are lucent 4400D's. New messages aren't setting off the message light on the phones and we dont know how to remove the light from the ones that had messages when it crashed. Please help. We know that it is a programming string that we add to a template in Amanda but we dont know what number turns on the light.

You can start in Maintaince - System - MW Update - Clear MW Light to turn off ALL the lights.

I'm sure you can search the forum to get the feature codes for turning the lights on and off for the Amanda.

I have searched but there doesn't appear to be anything on the code to turn on the message waiting notification.

The code to turn on message waiting is "#53%U" with a type of "normal". The code to turn off message waiting is "#*53%U" with a type of "pickup".

You saved me. I went through everything I could find on Lucents website and Amandas website and couldn't find #53. I spent around 15 hours looking for this answer. Thank you very much.
