Customer switched over for a AT&T provided circuit to a COX provided circuit. PRI was programmed 5ESS optioned for Custom, ESF, B8ZS. PRI is up and working and we are showing no slips on the circuit, but they are experiencing phantom ringing with caller ID showing Operator 100 or random digits on caller id and no one is there. I verified that they are only sending number only. Has anyone experienced this before or know what might be causing this problem. The problem has started after they cut-over to the new circuit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again



 
I know you verified they are only sending number, but I would ask them again to make sure they are not allowing name to be sent. I have had that as an issue on a Merlin Magix before.
 
I have a vendor meet out at that location on Thursday, I will let you know when I find out the problem. Thanks
 
Thanks for the response I had them totally remove caller id and the problem seems to have been cleared. We are going to watch it for a couple of days to verify that the caller id was the problem, and then have them try to install the caller id with number only again. Thanks Telecomboy.
 
When you turn clid back on call in but block your number. Had troubles like this in the past.
