Hello everyone,
I have inherited a Magix system that has integrated messaging 617A49 (which I believe is the 1.1 release). I've been working through setting up programming but have ran into a snag. The sample messages for the selectors all contain a "*" before the number so it reads like "To reach sales, press star 1...." Is it actually necessary for callers to actually dial star then the selection while in the menu? If so, any suggestions for a workaround? I once set up a cheap Panasonic cordless system for friends that had an AA and it required a star so I guess I'm trying to figure out if we have something that sounds as cheap as that Office Depot system, either way we'll be fine
Thank you for any insight in advance!
