I know I should be able to find this on the forums but I've been looking for about 30 minutes now and can't find it. does anyone know the code you dial to identify what the extension is at the station.
then he goes on my list
I sound like my wife I have a list, but on mine are the people that don't get any help any more from me.
So he can run but he can't hide. I can wait until next time.
Cheers

it is sometimes enough to get a thank you for the work and the knowledge passed on but it seems to get less and less on this site that people do that.
You seem to get that so you are off the black list again ;-)
I don't know AL16. The first line of this thread had plenty of drama. The dramatic thiry minutes of searching for an answer with no results. The courage it must have taken to post for help with such an entry level question.
I completely bought the performance of a courteous technician seeking guidance. I agonized at the eternity of 19 minutes for a response.
Not exactly Oscar material but then you didn't thank the academy either.
Huge ego perhaps but what exactly is wrong with thanking those who provide free help without the sarcasm? The free help did save you endless hours of reading the manuals that are freely avialable and you have now learned trhree different ways to accomplish the same thing.
Perhaps sometimes these things are taken for granted but usually the free help is accompanied but a shout out. Without the sarcasm.
Thats o.k. though. Your reputation is your own responsibility.
Sometimes I get so carried away with the "fix" and great "trouble shooting advice" that I honestly forget to acknowledge the givers here on this forum.
I'm focused on the customer and getting things working like many of you are.
Over the years this group has bailed me out more times that I can remember. I have forgotten, many time, to say "thanks" and often will come back to it when I get a quieter moment. I'm sure you would have also.
Hang in there and try and give back to the forum when you can.
