I have installed a T-1 on a Legend and am experiencing a wierd problem. I have the T-1 set up as E/M Tie lines Type 1S, Toll DTMF. I can Call out no problem. When the callers dial in 50% of the calls fail. It is like The card does not recieve the digits. I have replaced the card and the processor and still have the same problem. any ideas.

Need to see a print out of General Trunk info, tie trunk info, and the T1 to even start to help.

Sounds like you are configuring the DID trunks, rather than the T-1.

you might have a faulty touch tone receiver as well. They are hard to pin down. According to Avaya, one could test good 10 times in a row and fail on the 11th try. Comforting info to get for sure.

Sounds like you don't have enough touchtone receivers. Touchtone receivers are shared system resouces. T1 card has none. 012TR has 2, 016TR has 4, 800DID has 2, embeded voice mails have 2, 016MLX has none, 408MLX has none, etc. Add them up for your system, you probably don't have enough at times.

chcoale makes a good point. If you are short on TTR's, try adding a 400 TTR module to the system and see what happens.
