Since about three weeks ago, we started to noticed calls been drops a few minutes after 4pm, same time our employees go home. The phone system would reboot itself at that time almost daily. After rebooting, everything would work normally. One change I remember doing around the time the problem started was changing the system time. It was off by a few minutes. Does anyone know what would be the cause of the problem? Thank you.

Do you by chance have a dedicated computer connected to the Admin port for WinSPM programming? Reason I ask, I have a customer with the 355 adapter wired to their serial port, and when they would turn their computer off before going home for the day, it would reboot the Magix. Solution was to disconnect the 355 adapter and have them use a modem to connect instead.

Other than that, look to power issues, perhaps something turning on every day at the same time causing a brown out and the reboot.

We don't have a computer connected, but it does seem like an issue caused by someone shutting down the shop. I will spent more time in the phone system room today and see if I notice anything. Thanks.

I agree w/ TTT
start looking at your ac power...there maybe a large motor
or someother electrical componet that is kicking on @ 400pm.
There is nothing in the Legend/Magix processor that would
cause a reboot at any hour. Forget wasting your time trouble
shooting the Magix....have the customer get an electrician
on site and start eliminating the possible causes.

I have continued to monitor the phone system and the problem hasn't happen again. Like you all, I suspect it's an power issue. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Make sure the phone system is on a dedicated power source. Environmental building power resources may be the cause or perhaps your system is connected to a circuit that is controlled by a light switch in another room.
