Does anyone know how to status the D channel for the PRI with WinSPM? I have statused trunk 0124 which is the slot my DS1 card is in, but the status of the 24th port shows maintenance busy. Am I doing this correctly? Problem is I can't select a line when I dial 9 to go out and incoming calls do not come in. I have tried to verify several times that the PRI is properly programmed . I can't even hit the pool button assigned for these trunks to get out. Was working fine and now it doesn't. Of course local CO tests with Tbird and everything is fine. I think the D channel is down.

You have a T1 card in slot 1? Wild idea. Much better to have a extension card in slot 1. But I digress. You should look at the light on the t1 card. What color is it?

Maintenance mode has a protected password. No one here will give that to you. Fess up. Do you know what you are doing?

Well, thanks for the help. First of all, a close technician and friend installed this equipment and did the cut on Friday. The technician died of a heart attack on Monday. I was sent to troubleshoot. Yes to answer your question I know what I am doing. There are no lights on the DS1 card.

Probably too much information.

Since you know what you are doing you should start by printing and posting the error log and the PRI setup. Others here may take a stab at it like suggest that you busy and restore the slot or properly power cycle the system. Either of those may work for you but I would want to see the prints and know the history. You know...like it worked then what event happend on site to cause it not to work. Power outage etc... you know the usual.

Back at it today. The system worked fine until Friday. The cust had a number 864-338-8368 that would ring and no one would answer, so I added a route plan for it to look for 368, delete 3 digits, add 231 which is the operator. We called the number to check and it was answered by the operator, so I thought everything was fine. About 10 minutes later you could not make outgoing calls and incoming would get a message that says " Due to network difficulties your call cannot be completed at this time"

Here is the PRI info

Your print messed up the post some how.

In your B Channel Group the Network Service needs to be CALL-BY-CALL not DMS-TieTrk, that won't work. Also some other stuff is missing from the print of the PRI.

Make sure line 824 the DCH is NOT in ANY pool or assigned in any way, that can cause the PRI not to work!
