Merlin Legend - Personal Line to voice mail problem

Good morning.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I don't work with the Legend system very often.

I have a phone with a personal line programmed on it. When callers call the personal number and the employee doesn't answer, the call rolls over to voice mail. However, when he is using the line and someone calls him, callers receive a busy signal rather than be transfered to his voice mail.

What should I do to have busy calls also roll over to voicemail?

His personal line is programmed as the principal user on his extension and his extension is in the voice mail coverage group - 30. His personal line is not assigned to any pools.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

It only has ONE path from the phone company to the Legend - so you need to add more lines in hunt to his phone, or Busy-Call-Forward (through the phone company) his line to the main line so someone can answer and transfer to him, or go to analog DID's or a T1/PRI.
 
Or, you could get Voice Mail on that line from your service provider.

Not a great choice, but it does work.

or...maybe convince the customer to go with DID service...
