I've done Merlin Legend/Magix Networking many times
with great success, but have never included a Definity
as a network node.

From the manufacturer's documentation, I understand I
have to use a designated Switch # (on the Legend/Magix
side).

What I really need help with is how to set the
networking up on the Definity.

I've done a lot of admin on Definity, but never in a
Legend/Magix network.

Any help you can possibly provide me with would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have seen it done, so I know that it is possible. I have never done the networking on the Definity. I would suggest going to the Definity forum and ask the same question.

Thanks. I've got it cross-posted in case any of the Merlin guru's are able to help.

I know that the Switch Identifiers need to be set a certain way. For example, a Merlin switch that's a non-satellite system has an ID between 1 and 20. Then a Merlin switch that's a satellite system has an ID between 21 and 40. Past that, a non-Merlin non-satellite system has an ID between 41 and 50. Finally, a non-Merlin satellite system has an ID between 51-60.

All of these Switch ID's I know of are defined this way on the Merlin end. Not sure of the ID's on the Definity end. Once you do get things networked from what I read I don't think you can implement CVM since you're using Definity.

Does this information help?
