I am new to the legend setup. The system is setup so that during the day, only 3 ext. will ring, Which is the way it should be. PROBLEM i am haveing is i need ALL the phones to ring when a night service button is pressed. I do have the manuel but need a little assistance.

Thank You

Night Service usually has to do with the operation of a Voice Messaging system - not what quite clear on what you are trying to accomplish.

The system does not have any voice messaging on it. Just want to setup the system to where extensions 26, 27 and 12 ring only during the day. And when extension 26 presses her Night button, ALL extensions in the building ring.

Thanks

Is ext 26 an Operator position?? If you want all extentions to ring when Night Service is activated - add all of them (the extentions you want to ring) to the Night Service Exclusion list.

I need to make ext 26 the Operator. Also i need to put a button on her phone that activates NS.

The Main Operator position is the lowest ext number in the system - in yours I don't know if that would be ext 10 or ext 12. Ports 1, 5 on any MLX module can be programmed as Operator positions. Once they are programmed as an Operator - then you can add the Night Service button.

The processor is a new 7.0, and they have 4 other modules

Total
1- 7.0 Proc
2- 408 GS/LS ATL Module
3- 408 GS/LS ATL Module
4- 408 GS/LS ATL Module
5- 012 Module

So i am assuming that i need to move extension 26 down to extention 10 so that she can be in the operator position. Then i need to assign a night service button (Feature 39?)
Then i need to put ALL extensions in Night Service Exclusion list.

Does that sound correct?

What is ext 12?? Is the system in Hybrid/PBX mode or KEY mode? You may already have an ext 10 (bottom ext port on the 1st 408 module to the left of the processor). What kind of phone is the "operator" phone? Is it at least a BIS-32?? This system sounds like an "antique". Why not invest in at least one 408 MLX module - and get yourself a "real" Operator ext like an MLX-20L - plus you could do all of your programming from that phone.

Ext 12 is a Bis 21, There is no phone connected to ext 10, is to why i was saying moving ext 26 to ext 10. And its in Key mode i am sure.. I would love to upgrade, and we will in the future, just right now they are tight on money.

Thanks

Well than move ext 26 to ext 10 - and follow the above - it should work. By the way - it should not cost a great deal to buy a single 408 GS/MLX module and an MLX-20L.
