I have a problem with phones having message waiting indicators on, but no messages. I did a message waiting light audit in tools. Didnt fix. I did a reboot of the voicemail. Still phones have the message waiting indicators. Any one experience this. The voicemail is 83% full (24 Hours Capacity). Help!!!

Getting error code err4019 invalid DN was sent from a VAS when requesting Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) update. Output: The affected DN. Action: Check the DN. It may have been removed in the Meridian 1, but not the VAS.
Severity Minor. Where do I start?

It sounds like you have a mwi dn set up in a mailbox, but the dn was taken out of the switch. go into user admin and do a list. under list search for the dn under mwi indication and it will tell you the mailbox it is associated with, and then you can take it out.

You may also have a DN going to voicemail that is not an extension on a phone, and so the system gets an error trying to set the message waiting light. You can delete the MWI extension on those mailboxes, or change it to an actual extension DN. Which brings me to the next item -- someone might already have done that. Then, when the MWI indicator comes on for that phone, it is for that "phantom" mailbox and not for the mailbox associated with the DN itself. Use the search function to search for MWI DNs that match the phone(s) having the trouble. You may be surprised..

I also get a BUG4111 on the PBX terminal. This problem is with all DNs in the PBX. Light does not come on for everything. Changed out the SSC card to see if theres a link problem, but still have same problem. Next Step is Change out voicemail CPU?

with your box that close to full, your lamps may become slow or unreliable.. check for stale mail boxes, check your cos's for reten of unread msg.. get that down to a reasonable number.. then scan your users for minutes of mgs saved.. i had the same problem when i took this one over.. 90 percent full.. three months later i am down to 23 percent full.. only 12 users can keep read msg msg past 30 days.. and i dropped msg length down to one minute for the average user.. i also found boxes with 30 and 40 min of msg that no one had ever logged into.. box was stale for over two years.. i have mine down to 1900 users and check seer codes once a week
