I know this might be a stupid question but has anyone ever heard of a virus affecting a meridian system ?? I only ask because we had a opt81c that was acting rather strangly (incoming voice calls being shown as data mainly), maintainance company was baffled and eventually went to Nortel who said it was a fault they have experianced only a few times worldwide. Its been patched but were still waiting for the problem to come back ! We have several other systems configured similarily but not had problems with them ??
Just asking out of intrest really ???

Never heard of one.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

no you've gotten very lucky to have a unique problem, most MM's are not on a ip network to receive a virus as such. i have seen corruption that had problems that seemed to change as you tried to isolate them but it's just usually a file that can't be read...
