Hello,

I am trying to do some back extension moves in my Meridian PBX. When I try to move an extension from one TN to another I get the following "SCH0474" which means "Telephones cannot be moved between loops". I don't understand what that means. I have moved extensions before in my other offices, but this one doesn't seem to want to work for me. Please help, I got the MAN barkin down my back. :*|

in older version you cannot mov phones if they are not in the same LOOP 4-0-x-x cannot be moved to 8-0-x-x. You have to delete it and reprogram it.

Good Luck

You may also want to verify that in your CFN MLDN is set to yes

Please elaborate phonejack. I'm still learning this :*).

IF IT'S SET TO NO YOU CAN'T MOVE PHONES BETWEEN LOOPS

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

If you can not move it maybe you can copy it then go back and change the extension to what you want and delete the old TN. Not as fast as the move command but if you have alot programmed on the phone it sure beats deleting then rebuilding. good luck
