I need a refresher on the loads for adding DID's to an Option 81 PBX. We have a new range coming in and I forgot how to ad the new DID's so the PBX identifies them as such.

PBX DOESN'T IDENTIFY THEM AS DID THERE JUST DN'S

At times, you need to "Convert" the DID telephone number to another number that is a "DN" in the PBX. In that case, LD49 does the conversion.

Thanks, what about NPA and NXX and the related range; does that need to be programmed for DID's to be reconized? Caller id or any other factors?

Thanks again!

Question: The DIDs you purchased, are they "free" in your PBX? Not in use? If they are, you do not have to do ANYTHING but program them where you want to use them, be it a phone extension, CDN, whatever.......

If you want some more detail, tell us the DID numbers/range, then go to LD 20 and REQ PRT TYPE LUDN and paste that here.

Caller ID is best studied here:

Your PBX usually only sees the last 4 numbers coming in anyway, no need to do anything if they match up. GHTROUT already informed you of LD 49 if they don't!
