I am new to MTE, how do I build and change or out a Meridian ID for a queue? I have NO knowledge of this software! Thanks!
 
Assuming I understand your question correctly, Open MTE, select "Enter System Administration Mode", enter password, select "Parameter Administration", select "Agent Definition".
From this screen, you can add and delete agent definitions.

well...first things first. Are you referring to MTE (Meridian Terminal Emulator)? Second, do you know how to open an instance of MTE and log in? If your answers to both of these questions is "yes", then the rest of my previously posted directions should be a piece of cake (assuming your profile is not restricted from accessing these menu options).
 
answers to both is basically no, I used to know how to this awhile back but due to my all encompassing duties changing, no I must say I do not remember. Yes it is MTE. Thanks.
 
There are 3 ways to communicate with MAX.

1. A dumb terminal (VT 220 or 420) directly connected to MAX. (could be the maintenance terminal or a supervisors terminal)

2. A dial up session to a modem connected to MAX. (could a maintenance port or a supervisors port)

3. MTE; which is a software application which (when installed on your desktop) allows you to communicate with MAX via an IP connection.

With that said, if you can't start a session with MAX using 1 of the 3 ways mentioned above, I am not going to be much assistance to you. Also, you will an ID and perhaps a password (depending on whether a password was assigned to the ID when it was created).
