any help would be appreciated

Try clicking on "File" then on "reset registry". Click yes to the question than pops up.

Hi,

What is the version of your MTE?
We have encountered this before and solved it by deleting all the registry entries with the word 'MTE'. Then reinstall the MTE and it should be ok.

Hope this helps.

Thats right. Last time I solved it this way
.-close your mte session
.-In the PC go to: START/RUN/regedit
.-In the registry editor window double click the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT entry
.-Double click the MTE entry
.- Select the NO_INSTANCES entry to verify that it shows the correct number of MTE sessions currently running on your PC
.-If the values in the NO_INSTANCES or IP_ADDRESS entries are incorrect complete these steps:

1.- Set the NO_INSTANCES value to 0
2.- Delete the IP_ADDRESS entry

.- Close the Registry Editor
.- Reboot your PC
