Meridian Mail

I have a Meridian Option 11c and a Meridian Mail.
I have a 2616 Telephone. The problem is:

When I am in a call, and If somebody calls to me, the call does not go away to the voice mail.
It just say "This line is busy, please calls afterwards"

I want that the call goes away to the voice mailbox when I am in call.

How can I forward my extension to the mailbox, but a forward busy/don´t answer.


Can sombody help me.

This is programmed in the HUNT setting of the set config. FDN is for a no answer status. If you want both, set the CLS to FNA HTA, then set HUNT and FDN to your pilot number for Meridian Mail.

can you actually program? if not forward your calls to the voicemail DN. You can still use your phone until you have someone correct the programming.

and the xxxx is the same dn you call to get your msgs.. in the mail you'll need to add the mb for your ext

I have FDN 7000, Hunt 7000. CLS FNA HTA MWA.

How can I send the call to the voicemail.

you may have an announcement in voice mail - From voice mail main menu - select 3 then 4 then 1. see if your ext is in there. If so, delete and test again.

Also, you could trace your phone when you hear the message to see where it is coming from.
