I would like to have the revert dn for a mailbox go to an external number.

I have created a phantom and an acd that forwards to the external number. Directly dialing the two dns forwards w/ no issues

However; when trying to use the dns as a revert for mer mail-

Calling an extension that uses the revert from a digital, the display shows the default revert dn and "cfwd" when zero is pressed during the mailbox greeting and the call forwards to the default attendant console.

This occures for both the phantom and acd.

cdb opt is set to cff

As I mentioned the acd and phantom work correctly if the dns are dialed the call is forwarded. Problem is occuring when mm attempts the revert (I think)

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

did you add the dn range to your permissions list for dialing off net.

Have the revert DN call the ACD DN and use NCFW ACOD instead of 9+.

Delete the Phanton 500.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

about 40 places that can be turned off.. the ncos of the acd sets, the rpl in mail, if the call comes from an external source the ncos of the inbound trunk.. if your using cfo in the cdb then the ncos of the orig trunk controls the allow deny, if your using cff, then the forwarding party needs the ncos to make the cfxa call...

couple of things to try, as ace posted a maxp 1 acd, ncfw to the acod of the route plus the number.. that is the quickest work around..

if your using cfo then you would need to change the ncos of the inbound trunks and that can cause other problems... let us know what you've tried and how those options are used and one of us can help

Sorry for the delay- busy.

As soon as i figure out how to get the acod for that I'll give it a go (bars/nars was not my forte- just user administration)

Thanks again for all the replies.
I'll post what did or didn't work.

LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE RDB

This will print all RDB, most likly rout 0 is the right one to use and you will see the ACOD number.

You can check in LD 90 and prt SPN 911 and see which RLI it goes to and the prt the RLI in LD 86 ans see which route it goes out on to be sure, but like I said it's probally route 0.

Thank you.

I tried the rdb and tried each acod w/ no success. But I'll try the ld 90

Thanks again

Here are the results:

First, I was trying from a phone that for some reason could not access the trunk using the access code. Which may lead to the issue with the mermail.

Any way,

I didn't get route 0 from rdb print out when I printed without specifying the route, but I was able to get the route to print specifying route 0- But it was the first route printed using rdb (not route 0 though)

Didn't have any number translation for 911. But I did find another post that stated this to find the ACOD for the "outside line"

Dial a number from a digital display, place call on hold, and then pick up.

This worked.

Changed the acd ncfw to ACOD+number.
Result was that certain sets could allowed the call to forward while others received a busy signal.

End result was same issue for the revert in mermail. Call was forwarded to attendant.
