I have two issues I am working on a MerMail system. One is that the keyboard file that is in the system for procomm does not work properly, does anyone know where I can get a working keyboard file. The file will not let me select specific areas to back-up that I would like to back-up prior to swapping out a bad hard drive.

What emulation are you using? I use Wyse 75 with my mail and have no problems.

I am not sure what emulation we use, I was sort of thrown into this with very little training or experience with the system. I know we use Procomm Plus to access the MerMail and the keyboard file we use does not have full functionality. I am not sure where to find information as to how the procomm is setup any further than that.

Here is a list of Softkeys used by Procomm for access in a Meridian Mail System

In case your softkeys are not preprogrammed I used the following configurations under
the keyboard editor.

Remember - vt220 configuration -

F1= ^[[17~
F2= ^[[18~
F3= ^[[19~
F4= ^[[20~
F5= ^[[21~

This will enable your softkeys to navigate through various screens

i almost forgot i do have a KBD file for Mail

where can i sent it to.

I have all of the soft keys working it is the navigation within screens that is not working properly on some screens, i.e. moving through selections on pages to select different options on the screens. The arrows and the tab and space bar don't function properly to move through items.
