Meridian Mail Down

Hello,it has been awhile since an event and now the Meridian Mail Release 13, (Option 61 Rel. 21 very old but running good)went down and the MMP40 card was reset. Voice mail is ok now but I was told by maintenance tech that I need to reduce 80% text storage when voice storage is 17 hours. The system is 24 hour storage. How do I reduce the 80% text storage if it is the database configuration. 17 hours should be ok due that it has 24 hour storage. It has been running at 81% and it did not go down. There must be another problem developing?

I appreciate any help before a BIG problem down the road.
