Meridian Mail down

Hey everyone -
One of my voicemail systems went down last night and I found that the HD has failed - I have ordered replacement HD from Seagate and my question is:

When I put the new HD in can i just run the recovery from the tape back up or is there special programming on the HD to get to the tape backup?

no it will boot from the hd since the hd does not have an os. if you have a full backup, it will jump up like it knows what it's doing..
